During this 2 day 'hands-on' practical workshop, participants will be shown the techniques involved in this unusual method of paper casting. Taking inspiration from Diana's current exhibition 'Material Remains' where tissue paper casting has been used extensively and from the permanent collection, participants will be using clay relief moulds as well as ready-made 2D and 3D objects to generate their outcomes. These can incorporate personal photocopied material, lazertran, text as well as drawn imagery. Wall hangings, artists' books or more sculptural finished pieces are all possible.
